Rudy King is a multidisciplinary visual artist and international arts administrator. King’s upbringing of the arts was developed from her hometown Brooklyn, New York. Throughout her journey as a 31-year-old she has found inspiration from her time living in the south and in the East Africa country, Tanzania. Visually King is known for her black and white portraits, conceptual illustration, and realism. She ties most of her current work to deliverance, freedom of the mind, and past trauma that she is now healed from. King graduated from Savannah State University in 2015 and received her master’s in arts administration from Winthrop University in 2021. Her purpose as an artist is to enlighten her audience to her perspective of a world where God’s truth coincides with life’s ambition. Within Rudy King’s career as an arts administrator, she has curated sixteen art shows and has worked with several art nonprofits as a Program Director.
